Muizuri: Swimwear that’s Safe, Colourful, and Kind to the Planet!
Muizuri is all about making a splash with safe, comfortable, and sustainable swimwear for boys and girls, inspired by our love of water and a parent’s desire for their children’s future. The name Muizuri combines words that mean a lot to us: “Vzuri” meaning “beautiful” in Swahili, “Muizi” meaning “Homeland/One Nation” in Afrikaans, and “Muzi” meaning “water” in Japanese. Together, they capture the spirit of Muizuri—beautiful swimwear that makes kids feel confident, comfortable, and right at home in the water.

WHY BUY MUIZURI?
When I created this swimwear range, my passion for fashion and my experience as a swim coach led me to realize that many swimsuits don’t prioritize safety.

Muizuri combines stylish, bold prints with practical design, focusing on making kids visible in as well as outside the water. No more blending in with shades of pastels and lighter colours —our bright, fun colours help you spot your child from a distance, whether they’re in or out of the water.

I’ve also observed that when kids are in distress, certain actions happen instinctively, like treading water, tilting their head back, and waving for help. That’s why Muizuri features our Reversible Lifesaver Arm—a bright, visible design on the child’s dominant arm (the one they write or throw with) to make it easier to spot in an emergency.

Message from the Founder
Ever since I was little, I’ve loved to swim. My parents often said I could swim before I walked – a true water baby! Now, I have two boys who have inherited my love for the water, and I’m passionate about teaching everyone how to swim confidently and safely.
With a degree in Fashion (BA Hons Fashion & Textile Management), I was able to bring my creative ideas to life and design my own collection of prints and swimwear. Combined with my Swim England coaching certification, I’ve been able to focus on what matters most—safety. My unique blend of fashion expertise and swim safety knowledge gives me the perfect foundation to create swimwear that’s not only colourful and fun but also designed with your child’s safety in mind.

The Reversible Lifesaver Arm UV Swim Tee
Our signature product was inspired by my experience coaching young swimmers. As with any sport, kids can tire quickly and become distressed in the water. Even strong swimmers can find themselves in a situation where they need help, and that’s when quick action counts—like waving one arm in the air to signal for assistance.
That’s how the Reversible Lifesaver Arm UV Swim Tee was born.
The bright, contrasting arm on the swimsuit ensures that the wearer is instantly visible when signaling for help, even from a distance.
Safety and visibility in the water, made simple.
What makes it unique? The top is designed to be worn either way—there’s no front or back. This means the UV Swim Tee can be placed on whichever arm is the child’s dominant one
